COMMUNITY NOTICE | STREET SWEEPER

Weddin Shire Council wishes to advise that a Street Sweeper will commence cleaning works in Grenfell from Monday 2 June 2025 and will then move to the villages of Caragabal, Quandialla and Greenethorpe. Street cleaning works are expected to be completed by Friday 13 June 2025.

Weddin Shire Council wishes to advise that upgrade works on Nowlans Road, from the junction of Bimbi-Quandialla Road in Bimbi to Grimms Road, Bimbi NSW, commenced on 5 February 2025 and are scheduled for completion by 15 June 2025. This project is part of the NSW Government’s Fixing Local Roads Program (FLRP).

ESSENTIAL ROAD MAINTENANCE ON THE MID WESTERN HIGHWAY GRENFELL NSW 2810 FROM 28 APRIL 2025
Transport for NSW is carrying out essential maintenance work on the Mid Western Highway in Grenfell from 28 April 2025.

The work will include three (3) kilometres of heavy patching to repair damaged road surfaces and pavement.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE | MAIN STREET GRENFELL NSW 2810
Council wishes to advise the community that a temporary road closure at the intersection of Main Street and Forbes Street (at the front of the Grenfell Motel) will be necessary to allow the contractors to safely remove the final redundant Essential Energy pole in Main Street.
This temporary road closure will take place on Sunday 16 March 2025.
