Survey on Weddin Shire unsealed roads
Unsealed roads provide several vital purposes. These include access to rural communities, allowing primary produce to get to market and tourism pursuits. Local government engineers are constantly battling with the conditions of unsealed road networks due to inclement weather, federal funding availability, state funding availability and at a local level, rate revenue.
A University of Southern Queensland Student is trying to investigate and put forward solutions by ascertaining the general consensus of the community who are predominantly situated on unsealed roads and what their opinions are on Weddin Shire Councils unsealed road network as a whole. This work will contribute toward better service levels and Council urges any resident to undertake the 5 - 10 minute survey.
The Survey will be active until 28/08/2022.
