UPDATE | Recycling & Waste Collection | Monday 3 February 2025

Thank you to the team at the workshop, Council is pleased to advise that the truck has been repaired and Council has commenced scheduled recycling collection which will be fully completed today.

For those businesses which normally have their trade waste collected today, Council staff will try to collect as much as possible this afternoon, however some trade waste collections may need to be rescheduled to tomorrow.

Weddin Shire Council wishes to advise that due to a breakdown of the garbage truck, todays recycling and trade waste collections will be delayed.

We are currently working on repairs to the truck but this may take a few hours.

If possible we will try to complete the schedule waste collection later today, therefore residents are encouraged to leave their bins out for collection.

We will provide a further update, once the required repairs have been completed, to advise when todays scheduled waste collection will be completed.
