TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES | DRIVE TO CONDITIONS

Weddin Shire Council wishes to advise that all unsealed roads within the Weddin Shire Council LGA are closed to vehicles over three (3) tonne until 4:00pm Monday 9 March 2026, when the situation will be reviewed. School buses, Emergency Services and Council Road Repair plant are exempt, subject to normal risk assessment by individual operators.

PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODWATER

The following roads are closed:

• Kangarooby Road, Bumbaldry (Open to local traffic only)

Other roads are open but may be affected with water over the road and debris on the road, proceed with caution, please note:

• Morans Road, Bribbaree - Reduce Speed signs in place due to loose stones and slippery surface.
• Heathcotes Lane Culvert, Bimbi – Reduce Speed and Damaged Pavement signs in place due to debris on surface
• Ooma Creek Culvert on Holy Camp Road - Reduce Speed and Damaged Pavement signs in place due to wash out and debris on surface.
• Arramagong Road Culvert - Damage to Shoulder, temporary safety cones in place.

Please avoid walking or driving through floodwaters, it may be deeper and faster flowing than anticipated and/or the road may have suffered extensive damage hidden beneath the water.
