The Draft Bush Fire Risk Management Plan (BFRMP) for Mid Lachlan is now on public exhibition until 5pm 20 February 2026. You can view the plan at Council's Administration Building, the Forbes Fire Control Centre or online.
The draft plan has been developed by the Mid Lachlan Valley Bush Fire Management Committee (BFMC). This plan looks at local bush fire risk factors and sets a treatment plan to mitigate bush fire risk in our community over the next five (5) years.
