From 27 December 2022, Council will undertake a road closure at the Main Street and Forbes Street roundabout.
This closure will occur at the roundabout only.
Vehicles and pedestrians can still access the Main Street.
Please enter at the Mid Western Highway intersection to access the western end. We will have the traffic separators removed at sections at the western end to allow vehicles to transverse across the median to exit.
For the eastern end, please enter as per normal and exit at Weddin St.
We anticipate that the roundabout will be closed for about 3 weeks.
This allows our team to work on the road pavement around the roundabout and time to let the concrete cure. We want to thank our team and our contractors for working over this period of time.
