NOTICE TO ROAD USERS
ANZAC DAY COMMEMORATIVE SERVICES | 
25 APRIL 2024

 
Weddin Shire Council would like to advise residents and visitors that on Thursday 25 April 2024, ANZAC Day Commemorative Services will be held throughout the Weddin Shire Local Government Area.

The Mid Western Highway (Camp Street) will be closed between East Street and Forbes Street from 5:00am - 7:00am for the Dawn Service and from 10:00am until 12:00pm for the Main Commemorative Service; Burrangong Street and Main Street will be closed during this period.

A detour will be in place via East Street, Young Street and Wood Street.
The ANZAC Day Commemorative Service is held annually at Memorial Park, Grenfell NSW. The Dawn Commemorative Service will commence from 5:15am with the Main Commemorative Service and March Pass commencing at 10:15am and concluding at approximately 12:45pm.

Council asks all road users to be mindful of the road closures around the Grenfell Town Centre and adjacent Memorial Park, together with the corresponding road detours and to proceed with care.

Weddin Shire Council appreciates the patience of motorists during this day.
