COMMUNITY NOTICE | STREET SWEEPER

Weddin Shire Council wishes to advise that a Street Sweeper will commence cleaning works in Grenfell from Monday 2 June 2025 and will then move to the villages of Caragabal, Quandialla and Greenethorpe. Street cleaning works are expected to be completed by Friday 13 June 2025.

PUBLIC NOTICE | NOTIFICATION OF FIREWORKS

Council has received the following Fireworks Notifications:
• The notification for Fireworks as taking place on 31 May 2025 on Major West Road Bumbaldry NSW 2794
• The notification for Fireworks as taking place on 7 June 2025 on Bumbaldry Road Greenethorpe NSW 2809.
A reminder to keep your pets and animals secure and comfortable, prepare early. Dogs and horses in particular often try and run away

MEDIA RELEASE | GENERAL MANAGER RESIGNATION

Mayor Paul Best has announced “The General Manager, Ms Noreen Vu has tendered her resignation with Weddin Shire Council. I congratulate Ms Vu on her appointment as the new Chief Executive Officer of Snowy Monaro Regional Council”.
Ms Vu will finish in her role as General Manager with Weddin Shire Council on 27 June 2025.
