MEDIA RELEASE | NEW EV CHARGER POWERS UP IN GRENFELL

Weddin Shire Council’s new electric vehicle (EV) charger in Forbes Street, Grenfell NSW 2810, has been commissioned and is now fully operational and ready for use.
The project was funded through the Local Small Commitments Allocation (LSCA) Program and expands access to EV charging infrastructure for residents, businesses and visitors to the Weddin Shire.

Weddin Shire Council marked Australian Citizenship Day by welcoming two new citizens at the citizenship ceremony on 17 September 2026 held in Council Chambers, Grenfell NSW.
Our newest citizens, were welcomed by Mayor Paul Best as the presiding officer for the ceremony.
