DRAFT DELIVERY PROGRAM 2017-2022 & OPERATIONAL PLAN 2021/2022

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1993 Council has reviewed and prepared the following draft documents for the 2021/2022 financial year: -

  • Revised Delivery Program 2017-2022
  • Draft Operational Plan 2021/2022

The Delivery Program translates the long-term goals documented in the Community Strategic Plan (CSP) Weddin 2026 into actions that Council will undertake during its five-year term. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent extension of the electoral cycle, the Delivery Program has been reviewed and revised accordingly so as to match the extended term of Council.

The draft Operational Plan outlines the specific tasks to be carried out during the 2021/2022 financial year so as to deliver Council’s commitments in the Delivery Program. The Plan includes: -

  • details of the specific tasks for the year under each of the CSP’s six (6) main objectives;
  • the revenue policy including rates and charges, licence fees and charges, and an income and expenditure statement;
  • a detailed budget; and
  • a schedule of road and street programs.

The draft documents are currently on display for comment and can be viewed on Council’s Public Exhibition webpage.

Written submissions are invited from the public and will be received up until 4:00pm on Thursday 17 June 2021.
