Council has received an Application DA 36/2017 for construction of Shed/Carport and separate Carport at Lot 11 in DP 1212714, Manganese Road, Grenfell.

Inspection: The application DA No. 36/2017 may be viewed between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.00 pm from Wednesday 26 July 2017 to Wednesday 9 August 2017 at the Council’s Office, Camp Street, Grenfell.

Submissions: Any person may make a submission in writing to the Consent Authority within the advertised period. Submissions objecting to the development are required to specify the grounds for objection.

ROAD CLOSURE – GIBRALTAR ROCKS ROAD

Weddin Shire Council hereby advises residents that Gibraltar Rocks Road is closed at the culvert from 9 August 2017 due to its condition.

A side track is available for traffic at the culvert. The road will be reopened, once the culvert works are completed.

GRENFELL TAXI SERVICE

Residents are hereby advised that due to unforeseen circumstances Grenfell’s Taxi Service will not be operating for the night/evening shift and on weekends for the next 6 – 8 weeks.

The weekday daytime service will continue to operate as normal subject to relief driver staffing arrangements.
