DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL

ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING & ASSESSMENT ACT 1979

DA 58/2017

 

Council has received an Application DA 58/2017 for demolition of the existing service station and construct a new service station including sales building, fuel dispensing canopy, UG fuel tanks, signage and associated works on Lot 1 Sec 6 DP 758473, 75 Camp Street, Grenfell.

 

Inspection:      The application DA No. 58/2017 may be viewed between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.00 pm from Monday 8 January 2018 to Monday 29 January 2018 at the Council’s Office, Camp Street, Grenfell.

 

Submissions:   Any person may make a submission in writing to the Consent Authority within the advertised period.  Submissions objecting to the development are required to specify the grounds for objection.

 

Written submissions are to be received at Council by 4.00 pm on Monday 29 January 2018.

PLANNING PROPOSAL TO AMEND WEDDIN LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL PLAN 2011

 

A Planning Proposal to Amend Weddin Local Environmental Plan 2011 (Amendment 4) for rezoning of Lot 72 DP 1148241, 1D North Street GRENFELL from IN1 General Industrial to R1 General Residential documentation has been developed by Council.

 

Documentation has been approved by Planning NSW for Council to engage in public consultation and in this regard Council has placed these documents on public exhibition seeking comments.  The documents are available at Councils Administration Building or website www.weddin.nsw.gov.au for review.

 

Submissions will be received up to 4pm 7th February 2018.

DRAFT RURAL SETTLEMENT PROJECT AND ADDENDUM

 

A Planning Proposal to Amend Weddin Local Environmental Plan 2011 (Amendment 3) to insert model clauses for boundary adjustment subdivision, intensive agriculture and development near zone boundaries has been developed by Council.

 

Documentation has been approved by Planning NSW for Council to engage in public consultation and in this regard Council has placed these documents on public exhibition seeking comments.  The documents are available at Councils Administration Building or website www.weddin.nsw.gov.au for review.

 

Submissions will be received up to 4pm 7th February 2018.

DRAFT POLICY - INSPECTION OF ROADS

 

Weddin Shire Council at its Ordinary meeting held 21 December 2017 resolved to place the Draft Policy Inspection of Roads on public exhibition for comment. 

 

The draft policy can be viewed at Council or on the website www.weddin.nsw.gov.au

 

Submissions will be received up to 4pm 7th February 2018.

Residents are hereby advised that due to extenuating circumstances the above meeting has been cancelled.

CONTRACTS ENGINEER

 

Council seeks the services of a qualified Civil Engineer with up to four years experience to carry out the duties of Contracts Engineer. 

 

The successful applicant will assist the Director Engineering in Administration of RMS Contracts, preparing estimates, quality assessment, liaising with ratepayers, grants submissions and will deputise for the Director Engineering as required. Appointment will be under the Local Government State Award.
