Library Lines

This week the New Materials Table features five new toys and a number of large

print titles along with Hugh Lunn’s classic memoir “Spies Like Us’ which has been broadcast on Ian McNamara’s “Sunday with Macca” radio programme for quite some time now.

            The really challenging toy is the Snake to Cube puzzle. I know it is possible to align the squares into a cube shape because that’s the way it was delivered but ….. it is a little reminiscent of Rubrik’s cube.

            The third StoryTime is taking place on Wednesday  (25^th). The librarian is also making preparations for the 2009/10 Summer Reading Clubs – the kits will be available from the library from 15^th December.

            There’s a new face behind the circulation desk this week – Jaime Dawes from The Henry Lawson High School is doing Work Experience in the library.
